Investasimu.com. PT Alfa Energi Investama Tbk (FIRE.JK) was established on 16 February 2015 in Jakarta. On 5 March 2015, The Company expanded its business in the electricity industry by acquiring 99% shares in PT Alfa Daya Energi (ADE), which is engaged in the power plant business. Together with another subsidiary, PT Alfara Delta Persada, the Company plans to own a coal-fired power plant in the future.
In June 2015, the Company acquired a 99% stake in PT Adhikara Andalan Persada (AAP), a holding company engaged in coal mining through its subsidiary. Subsequently, in August 2016, the Company acquired PT Properti Nusa Sepinggan (PNS), a holding company engaged in coal mining through its subsidiary.
The Company indirectly owns a coal mine through its subsidiary PT Alfara Delta Persada with a Mining Permit (IUP) covering an area of 2,089 hectares in Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan, and began conducting commercial business activities in 2016. The Company also owns coal mining assets in Kutai Barat, East Kalimantan. covering an area of 6,000 hectares through PT Berkat Bara Jaya which is still in the pre-operation stage.
The Company produces low-to-medium coal, with GAR 3,500, 4,200, and 4,500 Kcal/gram, the water quality of 30%, a maximum sulfur content of 0.6%, and 8% ash content. The company is part of the Alfa Centra business group whose majority shares are owned by Aris Munandar (President Director).
