English.investasimu.com. PT Baramulti Suksessarana Tbk (BSSR.JK) was established on 31 October 1990 based on the Deed No. 68 from Notary H.A. Kadir Usman, S.H, and started his business as a marketing and trading agent for PT Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam. Along with business development, the Company expanded its scope of business into coal mining by acquiring PT Antang Gunung Meratus (AGM) in 1995. AGM's coal exploration activities began in 1999, while the Company's coal production activities began commercially in 2011.
As of 31 December 2020, the coal mining concession area owned by the Company and AGM has reached 24,518 ha. in over 5 districts on the island of Kalimantan, namely Kutai Kartanegara, Banjar, Tapin, Hulu Sungai Tengah, and Hulu Sungai Selatan. During 2020, The Company has produced 10.58 million MT of coal for domestic needs and export to several Asian countries, such as India, China, South Korea, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Japan, and Taiwan.
