Investasimu.com. PT Harum Energy Tbk (HRUM.JK) was established under the name of PT Asia Anthracite based on deed No. 79 dated October 12, 1995. Based on deed no. 30 dated November 13, 2007, from notary James Herman Rahardjo, S.H., Notary in Jakarta, the name PT Asia Anthracite was changed to PT Harum Energy and at the same time changed the entire Articles of Association of the Company to be adjusted to Law no. 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies.
The Company owns coal mining assets operated by subsidiaries such as PT Mahakam Sumber Jaya, PT Santan Batubara, PT Bumi Karunia Pertiwi, PT Karya Usaha Pertiwi, and PT Tambang Batubara Harum. The Company's advantage lies in its vertically integrated production chain and is one aspect of operational efficiency that enables it to develop and survive the coal mining cycle in the domestic and foreign markets. By delivering consistently superior performance, the Company has successfully marketed its coal to various Asian countries such as China, Thailand, Bangladesh, South Korea, India, Pakistan, and the Philippines.
The Company is also currently expanding its business into the nickel ore mining and processing sector, which is expected to contribute in the next few years through PT Positions owned by the Company indirectly through PT Tanito Harum Nickel.
