Megah Pratama Resources was domiciled in Central Jakarta and established based on the Deed of Establishment No. 56 dated 13 July 2011 of Humberg Lie, SH, SE, M.Kn, Notary in North Jakarta. In 2020, the Company engaged in coal mining business activities, wholesale trading of solid, liquid, and gas fuels and other products; seaport services, construction of office and residential buildings, financing and similar financial entities, transportation of rivers and lakes for special goods, and multimode transportation.

The Company has the exclusive right to conduct coal mining under the Mining Business Permit (IUP) granted by the Local Government, with a concession area of ​​16,085 hectares through:

  1. PT. Bangun Olahsarana Sukses, PT. Pratama Bersama, and PT. Energi Amzal Bersama which obtained a permit to conduct coal production and operation (IUP OP); and
  2. PT. Pratama Buana Sentosa, which obtained a permit to conduct general investigation, exploration, and feasibility studies related to coal mining (IUP Eksplorasi).

The Company through its Subsidiaries produces thermal coal with low ash, very low sulfur, and has an average calorific value of 6,300kcal/kg (ARB). The coal produced by the Company is generally used for coal-fired power plants for the international market.
