English.investasimu.com. Established in 1981, PT Resource Alam Indonesia Tbk (KKGI.JK) was initially named PT Kurnia Kapuas Utama Lem Industri (KKGI) and is involved in producing wood adhesives. In 2003, the Company changed its name to PT Resource Alam Indonesia Tbk and diversified into coal mining.
To date, the Company has a PKP2B concession area of 24,477 hectares which includes the Purwajaya, Manunggal Jaya, Handil Bakti, Bayur, Simpang Pasir, Warat and Separi blocks. Those mining concessions have been managed by a subsidiary, namely PT Insani Bara Perkasa, since 2006. The coal produced by the Company is intended for both domestic and export markets with destination countries such as South Korea, India, China, and Bangladesh.
